orange cone!

So Jeff and i were driving down our street and we see this orange cone (you know one of those tall orange cones for construction but no one was working on the rode some punk kids moved it there) in the middle of the road... we had to drive down the street and it was right in our path so Jeff says "open your door and knock it down" so i opened my door and it didn't knock down. So he reverses and makes it so the cone is on his side. He tried knocking it down. Failed! so he PICKS it up and starts driving with it and says "where should i put it" me: "laughing my head off i don't know" the he picks it up and puts in the car through the window. however the black bottom part of cone is sticking out the window, we looked like cone stealers! So we drive around the block with this huge cone in the car and dropped it off by our house.

300 days

Today Jeff and Myself have been married 300 days! The only reason i know is because friends of ours got married 5 days after us and they had a countdown of how many days till their wedding on their facebook page, after they got married it says how many days they have been married. SO i just added 5 days to it.

I just thought it was cute.

I would name 300 things why i love being married to Jeff but 300 is just way to long, so ill name 3 :)

- I love the way Jeff buys me flowers randomly.

- I love the way Jeff picks up my used tissues that i throw on the floor when I'm sick.

- I love that Jeff makes me laugh a lot.

summer

So i've been out of school for a few weeks now, it feels weird because i have nothing to do. I applied for a few jobs but no one has called so, i just set at home and watch movies on netflix. So far i have watched an entire season of greys anatomy. I just get so bored. I NEED a life haha.

I try to find things to do to entertain myself... example's I made about 30 we moved cards, by hand, it only took me about 2 hours. I'm tired of cleaning so i always put that at the end of the list haha. When my sister finds out the sex of her baby i plan to make blankets for the little one!

We still have boxes everywhere from the move and i just don't have motivation to take the stuff out of the boxes ha!

-There is this one huge box in the kitchen that goes under the kitchen sink, it's all the cleaning products...

-I have two bags FULL of shoes that i have yet to put in my closet... why you ask.. well i can't stand to go in the closet it has this musty smell (there is a long story about that one. short version our closet has a trapped door to the basement below us, well a pipe burst and the tenants didn't tell the landlords for 6 weeks which created mold which created a smell, after we realized what the smell was we made sure the landlords got rid of that asap!) but i still don't want to go put all my shoes away.

-the guest room is a MESS! somehow everything just got placed there, the bed has a ton of boxes on it and other various things that need to be put up in the house.

at least the house is livable!

river jumpers

So Jeff and I try to go on a walk regularly. We went for one today to the Arboretum by our house, where we usually go. Well a couple of walks ago I noticed a trail that was sorta hidden, but as we went a long the trail we noticed a hight weeds and didn't really want to walk through them but we saw some people over on the other side of it so we knew that there was some other way to get over to the other side of this park, we just weren't sure how. We decided just to turn back from the trail and not worry about it. The next day we found the other side from a whole different path which was pretty cool.

Today we ended up back at the path that we turned back on.. and I said to Jeff I kind of think we should go through it.. he said okay. As we got closer we noticed a stream/river... and I was like those are pretty small we can jump those. So i'm walking closer to the stream and its just mush.. and my shoes just sink into the mud, but i jumped anyway. Then Jeff jumped. Then Jeff said there was another stream to cross... so i was thinking what's the point of turning back now. Jeff jumped first and as he landed, mud went into his shoe because he was sinking in so much.. as I'm watching this I seriously almost peed my pants because it was so funny. I didn't really want to jump because I didn't want mud in my shoe. So I'm on the side we're Jeff is not... so I'm walking around to see if there is a place that is a smaller jump so i won't have to step into water.. as I'm walking my shoe gets stuck in the mush and my foot slipped out of the shoe. So I'm like balancing on one foot hoping not to fall or get my foot all muddy. I finally jumped but i did get mud IN on my shoe :( Jeff was laughing at me because i kepy saying "ew ew ew ewwww". But guess what there was yet another stream to cross over... so we both jumped and that time it wasn't to bad... but we both had to walk all the way home with mud in our shoes. It was a funny and memorable adventure!

kitty!

Let me start off by saying I'm allergic to cats.. which I'm fine with because i never really liked cats. Well a few months ago when my sister and her daughter came to visit, Chloe, my niece noticed a cat under the patio. Chloe fell in Love with the cat! Well a few weeks after that she came back.. so i gave her some tuna because i thought she was hungry! Then she came back the next day meowing for more tuna, so i gave her some. So Jeff and i came to the terms that we have a neighborhood cat. Well then Jeff bought her cat food.. and now she comes to our house pretty much every day. I do like her.. she is really cute and super friendly.. and I'd rather her be in my house then on the streets having the possibility of being hit by a car. However, she makes me sneeze frequently when she is here. AND she leaves balls of hair everywhere! so annoying! oh and she likes to eye my fish... She first noticed our fish a few days ago, she'll put her paws up on the fish stand. Every time she does that i spray her with a spray bottle.. hahaha! and she still hasn't got the concept of leaving them alone! She is cute though... but we are getting a puppy in August and if she doesn't get along with our puppy then she is out of here! (well hopefully, i think ill just make them get along)

New Blog!

So... I have decided after some long thought that i would switch over my old blog to this new blog. So follow us on this now :) I'll get rid of my old blog in a few months or so...

why you ask? It bothered me that in the URL it said my old name and its about my new family not just me :)

Anyways tomorrow is Jeff's Birthday!! He is going to be 25! Way older then me! ha
